N37RS

Not what I would call a short tail number, but shorter...

🌟 This isn’t a “Purge”, I just happened to notice it is available
I am still working on adding more and more N Numbers to the list for this newsletter and keeping an eye on the ones I have. I am currently working my way through the 2 number 1 letter list and found one that will be purged next week.
I was watching a YouTube video last night and heard the pilot talking to ATC. I went to look up the call sign, but I miss heard the tail number and looked up N37RS. It’s still not that uncommon to have these 2 number 2 letter ones just sitting there for the taking, but I thought I would share my find with you guys anyway. (I see a couple of people subscribed to this newsletter that have “RS” as there initials.

🚀 Still Launching

I am still in the early stage of this newsletter. There are actually several N Numbers for every week on my purge calendar, but the people who have them reserved renew before the purge date. I don’t think it would be very helpful to you all to be sending out N Numbers that are not up for grabs, so I just keep quiet most days and wait until I have something. Once I get more and more in the system, it should pick up a little bit.

🦄 N30W

Probably a fluke, but I am hopeful!

As some of you on forum.PilotGround.com already know, I came across a unicorn while I was working on this news letter over the weekend. 2 Number 1 Letter N numbers are NOT just sitting around waiting for someone to grab these days. But for whatever reason I was able to request a reservation for N30W without doing any of the purge date tracking/staying up until 1AM Eastern stuff that this newsletter is about. It was just sitting there for the taking on a lazy afternoon over a holiday weekend. So I grabbed it. Still waiting to see if I actually get a reservation for it. Probably a NO letter from the FAA in my future, but we will see.

Thats it for this one. I hope everyone is enjoying there summer and getting some quality flight time in the logbook. Talk to you soon!

All The Best,

Robert Berger
